Indications
Solanum is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin D and vitamin K deficiencies in patients at risk of osteoporosis. The combination of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) and vitamin K is essential for maintaining bone health, as vitamin D promotes calcium absorption in bones, while vitamin K is necessary for proper mineralization and bone tissue formation. This medication can be used in adults and in specific populations such as older individuals or those with conditions affecting the absorption of these vitamins.
Composition
Each Solanum capsule contains:
- Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) 1000 IU
- Vitamin K 45 mcg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, as well as in those with hypercalcemia or severe kidney disease. Its use is not recommended in patients taking anticoagulants without proper medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Solanum in patients with cardiovascular disease or liver problems. Regular monitoring of blood calcium and phosphorus levels is important during treatment. Likewise, it is recommended to consult a doctor before starting treatment if you are undergoing other medical treatments that may interact with vitamin D or K.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
