Indications

Sinkel is indicated for the treatment of various medical conditions requiring the anti-inflammatory and/or immunosuppressive action of dexamethasone. It is used in the management of autoimmune diseases, severe allergic disorders, dermatological diseases, respiratory diseases such as asthma, and in the treatment of certain types of cancer. It is also employed in the management of acute and chronic inflammatory conditions, as well as in medical emergencies where rapid control of inflammation is required. Dexamethasone works by reducing inflammation and modulating the immune response, making it effective in a variety of clinical contexts.

Composition

Each Sinkel ampoule contains 2 ml of dexamethasone as the active ingredient.

Contraindications

The use of Sinkel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to dexamethasone or to any of the product's excipients. It is also contraindicated in untreated systemic infections, in patients with active peptic ulcers, and in those with certain severe psychiatric conditions. Furthermore, its use should be cautious in patients with diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases, as well as in those with viral infections.

Precautions

It is recommended to use Sinkel under strict medical supervision, especially in prolonged treatments or high doses. It is important to monitor blood pressure, blood glucose, and other relevant parameters in patients with pre-existing conditions. Treatment should not be abruptly discontinued without proper medical advice, as it may cause significant adverse effects.
