Indications
Sildenafil is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men. This condition is characterized by the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual intercourse. Sildenafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, thereby facilitating an erection. The medication should be administered 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. No more than one dose should be taken per day.
Composition
Each tablet contains 100 mg of sildenafil. Excipients include: microcrystalline cellulose, starch, magnesium stearate, and other inert excipients.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to sildenafil or any of the formula's components. It should not be administered in combination with nitrates, as this can cause severe hypotension. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, such as unstable angina or recent myocardial infarction.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, liver or kidney problems. It is important to inform your doctor about any ongoing treatments and pre-existing medical conditions. Its use is not recommended in women and it is not a contraceptive method.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature between 15°C and 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
