Indications
Sertraline is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder. It works by increasing serotonin in the brain, which helps to improve mood and reduce anxiety. Patients should be evaluated to determine the suitability of the treatment and the appropriate dosage, as the response may vary from individual to individual.
Composition
Each tablet contains 50 mg of sertraline. Excipients: lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Sertraline is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sertraline or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in patients who are being treated with pimozide.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of manic disorders, seizures, or who are taking other medications that affect the central nervous system. Medical supervision is recommended in patients with a history of liver or kidney diseases. Abrupt discontinuation of treatment should be avoided.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
