Indications

Salpifar (Paracetamol) is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, as well as for fever reduction. Its use may be appropriate in situations such as headache, muscle pain, sore throat, and discomfort associated with colds and flu. It can also be used in the management of postoperative pain and in patients with conditions requiring controlled analgesia. Intravenous administration of paracetamol is an option for patients who cannot receive medication orally or in situations where a rapid onset of action is required.

Composition

Each 100 ml of injectable solution contains: Paracetamol 1 g.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the excipients in the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with severe liver disease or liver failure, as well as in patients with severe anemia.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with renal insufficiency, mild to moderate liver disease, and in those who regularly consume alcohol. Paracetamol administration should be performed with care in patients with dehydration or hypotension, as well as in those receiving concomitant treatments that may affect liver function.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30°C, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
