Indications
Salpifar is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and pain of various etiologies, including headache, muscle pain, joint pain, and postoperative pain. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, providing relief in conditions such as colds and flu, as well as in states of moderate pain. Its use is recommended in patients who need adequate pain management without the associated risk of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Composition
Each 50 ml of Salpifar contains 500 mg of paracetamol as the active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, glycerol, among others.
Contraindications
Salpifar is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of severe liver failure or in patients with advanced hepatocellular diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Salpifar in patients with liver diseases, chronic alcohol consumption, and in those who are being treated with other drugs that may affect the liver. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose, as excessive use can lead to liver toxicity. In case of overdose symptoms, immediate medical attention should be sought.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
