Indications

Salinaker (sertraline) is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and panic disorders. This medication acts on the central nervous system, helping to balance neurotransmitters, which can contribute to improving mood and reducing anxiety. It is important that the use of this medication is supervised by a doctor to ensure its correct administration and treatment monitoring.

Composition

Each capsule contains 50 mg of sertraline and excipients necessary for the product formulation.

Contraindications

Salinaker is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sertraline or any of the formulation components. Its use is not recommended in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) due to the risk of serious adverse reactions. Likewise, it should not be administered to patients with a history of mania or manic episodes.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of bleeding disorders, as well as in those with a history of seizures. It is also important to monitor patients at risk of suicide or who exhibit changes in behavior. Use in pediatric population should be carefully evaluated by a physician.
