Indications
Rosel T is a medication indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with viral infections, such as the flu and common cold. Its combination of amantadine, chlorphenamine, and paracetamol provides a synergistic effect that helps relieve symptoms such as fever, headache, nasal congestion, sneezing, and general malaise. Amantadine acts as an antiviral, while chlorphenamine is an antihistamine that reduces allergic symptoms, and paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic that helps reduce fever and relieve pain. This medication is designed for symptomatic management and should not be used as a curative treatment for viral infections.
Composition
Each Rosel T tablet contains:
- Amantadine 50 mg
- Chlorphenamine 3 mg
- Paracetamol 300 mg
Contraindications
Rosel T is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease or a history of severe kidney disease. Furthermore, it should be used with caution in patients with closed-angle glaucoma or urinary retention.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Rosel T under strict medical supervision in patients with a history of seizures, cardiovascular disease, or those taking other medications that may interact with this product. Special care should be taken in elderly patients and those with pre-existing medical conditions.
