Indications

Rimogrin is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorders in adults. This medication acts as a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), which helps improve mood and alleviate symptoms associated with depression. Additionally, Rimogrin may be used for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder, always under medical supervision. It is recommended that the initiation of treatment and dose adjustment be carried out under the guidance of a healthcare professional.

Composition

Each Rimogrin capsule contains 75 mg of venlafaxine, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Rimogrin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to venlafaxine or any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and in those with a history of serotonin syndrome.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in patients with a history of hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, seizures, or bipolar disorders. Regular medical follow-up is important during treatment. Patients are advised to inform their doctor about any medications they are taking, as interactions may occur. Abrupt discontinuation of treatment can lead to discontinuation symptoms; therefore, a gradual dose adjustment under medical supervision is recommended.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
