Indications
Relivium is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is used in the management of postoperative pain, pain due to trauma, as well as in chronic painful conditions. This medication acts on the central nervous system, providing pain relief by modulating the pain signals transmitted to the brain.
Furthermore, it can be used as part of a combined treatment in situations where other analgesics have not been effective. The administration of Relivium must be supervised by a healthcare professional, who will assess the need and duration of treatment according to the patient's characteristics and the nature of the pain.
Composition
Each capsule of Relivium contains 100 mg of Tramadol as the active ingredient. Excipients vary depending on the specific formulation, ensuring the stability and effectiveness of the medication.
Contraindications
Relivium should not be administered to patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Tramadol or any component of the formula. It is contraindicated in patients with acute intoxication from alcohol, sedatives, opioids, or any other drug that affects the central nervous system. Its use is not recommended in patients with uncontrolled epilepsy or those who are using monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Precautions
