Indications

Ralucsum is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is commonly used in the management of postoperative pain, as well as in the treatment of acute and chronic painful conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Additionally, it can be prescribed to relieve pain associated with sports injuries and muscle aches. Ketorolac, its active ingredient, acts as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes necessary for the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators of pain and inflammation.

Composition

Each Ralucsum tablet contains 30 mg of ketorolac tromethamine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation of the medicine.

Contraindications

Ralucsum is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ketorolac or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of active gastric or intestinal ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal failure, and in patients who have experienced serious adverse reactions to other NSAIDs. Its use is not recommended in the third trimester of pregnancy and during lactation without adequate medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, heart failure, hypertension, and in those who consume alcohol or anticoagulants. It is important to monitor renal function and blood pressure during treatment. Prolonged use without medical supervision is not advised.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
