Indications
Quitado is indicated for the temporary relief of fever and for the treatment of mild to moderate pain. It can be used for headaches, muscle pain, back pain, arthritis, menstrual pain, toothaches, and colds. This medication primarily acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, offering relief in conditions where increased body temperature or pain are predominant. Its use is common in patients who require symptomatic management in situations of discomfort.
Composition
Each Quitado tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol as the active ingredient. It also includes excipients such as starch, magnesium stearate, and talc, which facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
Quitado is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the product's excipients. Its use should also be avoided in patients with severe liver disease or severe renal insufficiency. This medication is not recommended for administration in combination with other paracetamol-containing products, to prevent overdose.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver diseases, chronic alcoholism, malnutrition, or diseases that compromise liver function. It is recommended not to exceed the recommended dose and to avoid prolonged use without medical supervision. In case of overdose symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, confusion, or jaundice, immediate medical attention should be sought.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
