Indications
Punab is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension in adults. It can be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensives to achieve adequate blood pressure control. It is also indicated for renal protection in patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension, as well as in reducing the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. Additionally, it can be used for the treatment of congestive heart failure, contributing to improved cardiac function and quality of life for patients.
Composition
Each Punab tablet contains 100 mg of Losartan as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Losartan or to any of the excipients that make up the product. Its use is not recommended in pregnant women during the second and third trimesters, as it has been associated with adverse effects in the fetus. It is also contraindicated in patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis or in those with a history of angioedema.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with severe renal insufficiency, liver problems, or those undergoing treatment with diuretics. It is important to monitor renal function and blood electrolytes during treatment. This medication is not recommended in patients under 18 years of age due to the lack of adequate clinical studies in this population.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
