Indications

Prugnex is indicated for the treatment of occasional and chronic constipation, promoting bowel evacuation through its laxative action. Sennosides A and B, present in its composition, act on the intestine, stimulating intestinal motility and facilitating the passage of stools. This medication can be useful in cases where relief from constipation is required, as well as in patients who, for different reasons, need to regulate their intestinal transit. It is important to follow the instructions of a healthcare professional to determine the appropriate duration and dosage of treatment.

Composition

Each Prugnex capsule contains: 12 mg of Sennosides A and 50 mg of Sennosides B, in addition to excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

Prugnex is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to sennosides or to any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of intestinal obstruction, colitis, Crohn's disease, or chronic diarrhea. Its use in children under 12 years of age must be supervised by a doctor.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those who are taking other medications that may interact with laxatives. It is advisable not to use Prugnex for prolonged periods, as it can cause dependence and alter the normal functioning of the intestine. In case of any adverse reaction, a doctor should be consulted.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
