Indications
Prochor is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension, as well as for the prevention of migraines. It is also used in the management of certain cardiac arrhythmias and in the treatment of angina pectoris. This medicine works by blocking the effects of adrenaline on the heart and other tissues, which helps to decrease heart rate, blood pressure, and the load on the heart. In addition, it can be useful in the management of physical symptoms related to anxiety, such as tremors and palpitations.
Composition
Each Prochor tablet contains 40 mg of propranolol as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Prochor is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to propranolol or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with bronchial asthma, severe bradycardia, second- or third-degree heart block, uncontrolled heart failure, and in those with cardiogenic shock. Its use should be carefully evaluated in patients with diabetes or obstructive pulmonary diseases.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of respiratory diseases, such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as well as in those with impaired renal or hepatic function. It is important to monitor blood pressure and heart rate in patients starting treatment with Prochor. In case of surgery, the anesthetist should be informed about the use of this medicine.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
