Indications
Pregabalin is indicated for the management of neuropathic pain associated with nerve injuries, such as diabetic neuropathy and postherpetic neuralgia. In addition, it is used in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder and as adjunctive therapy in adults with partial epilepsy. Its mechanism of action is based on the inhibition of the release of excitatory neurotransmitters, which contributes to the reduction of neuronal excitability and, therefore, to pain relief and the reduction of anxiety symptoms.
Composition
Each capsule contains 75 mg of pregabalin. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, starch, talc, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pregabalin or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless strictly necessary and under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of substance abuse, renal insufficiency, and those who experience changes in mood or behavior. The patient's condition should be monitored for any signs of depression or suicidal thoughts. The use of pregabalin can cause dizziness and drowsiness, so care should be taken when driving or performing activities that require attention.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
