Indications

Pregabalin is indicated for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuropathic pain, and as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial onset seizures in adults. It is also used in the management of generalized anxiety disorder and in the treatment of restless legs syndrome. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a physician, as it is essential to adjust the dose and duration of treatment according to the patient's response and possible adverse effects.

Composition

Each Pregabalin ultra capsule contains 150 mg of pregabalin as the active ingredient. Excipients: gelatin, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, among others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pregabalin or any of the excipients. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation without appropriate medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of substance abuse, as well as in those with renal insufficiency. Abrupt discontinuation of treatment should be avoided to prevent an increase in the frequency of seizures. Regular patient monitoring is recommended to monitor adverse effects and treatment effectiveness.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
