Indications

Pramipexole is indicated for the treatment of early and advanced Parkinson's disease, as well as for the treatment of movement disorders associated with the disease. In addition, it is used in the treatment of restless legs syndrome, providing relief to patients experiencing discomfort in the limbs at rest.

Composition

Each tablet contains: Pramipexole (as dihydrochloride) 0.5 mg. Excipients: lactose, starch, magnesium stearate and other excipients.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pramipexole or any of the excipients. Likewise, its use is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease or in those who present hallucinations or severe psychiatric disorders without medical supervision. Its use in pregnant or breastfeeding women should be carefully evaluated by a physician.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of behavioral disorders, as well as in those taking other medications that may affect the central nervous system. It is important to monitor patients for possible adverse effects and adjust the dose as needed. Alcohol consumption is not recommended during treatment with pramipexole, as it may increase the risk of side effects.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
