Indications
Popram is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive gastric acid production. It is used in the therapy of esophageal erosions caused by gastroesophageal reflux esophagitis. It is also indicated for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics, to reduce the recurrence rate of peptic ulcers. Additionally, Popram is used in the management of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a condition characterized by excessive gastric acid production.
Composition
Each Popram tablet contains 40 mg of Pantoprazole as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
Popram is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pantoprazole, to any other component of the formula, or to other proton pump inhibitors. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of severe liver disease, as well as in those receiving long-term treatment. Liver function monitoring is suggested during treatment. In case of symptoms such as unexplained weight loss, persistent vomiting, or hematemesis, the presence of gastric cancer should be ruled out before starting treatment with Popram.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
