Indications

Placart (Carboplatin) is indicated for the treatment of various malignant neoplasms, including but not limited to: ovarian carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, and testicular carcinoma. This medication is generally used in combined chemotherapy due to its effectiveness in inhibiting tumor growth. Carboplatin administration should be performed under the supervision of an oncologist, considering the patient's medical history and response to previous treatment.

Composition

Each ml of injectable solution contains Carboplatin 10 mg. Excipients: water for injection, hydrochloric acid, and others.

Contraindications

Placart is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Carboplatin, as well as in those with severe kidney problems. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other platinum compounds. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate supervision.

Precautions

It is important to constantly monitor kidney and blood function during Placart treatment. Patients should be evaluated by their doctor before starting treatment, and kidney function tests and a complete blood count should be performed to determine the suitability of using this medication. Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of infections or who are receiving other chemotherapeutic treatments.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
