Indications

Pirquet (Fexofenadine) is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and ocular itching. It is also used in the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria, for the control and reduction of pruritic and erythematous symptoms. It is especially useful in patients who experience allergic reactions to pollen, dust mites, mold, and animal dander.

Composition

Each Pirquet tablet contains 180 mg of Fexofenadine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fexofenadine or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without appropriate medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Pirquet to patients with severe renal insufficiency. It is advisable for patients who are undergoing treatment with other antihistamines to inform their doctor before starting treatment with Fexofenadine. Safety and efficacy in children under 12 years of age have not been established.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
