Indications

Piroxicam is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation in various conditions, such as:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Acute pain
  • Menstrual pain
  • Post-operative pain

Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action is due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, which helps relieve pain and reduce inflammation in affected tissues.

Composition

Each Piroxicam tablet contains 20 mg of piroxicam as an active ingredient. Excipients: starch, lactose, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

The use of Piroxicam is contraindicated in patients with:

  • Known allergy to piroxicam or any other component of the formula.
  • Active gastric or duodenal ulcers.
  • Inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Severe renal or hepatic insufficiency.
  • Uncontrolled heart conditions.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in the following cases:

  • Patients with a history of cardiovascular disease.
  • Elderly patients or those with comorbidities.
  • Pregnancy and lactation, as it may affect the fetus or infant.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
