Indications
Pirinovag is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and mild to moderate pain. It is used in cases of postoperative pain, dental pain, menstrual cramps, and in patients with conditions requiring adequate pain and fever control. Its analgesic and antipyretic effect makes it a therapeutic option for those who have intolerance to other non-steroidal analgesics.
Composition
Each Pirinovag tablet contains 500 mg of Metamizole Sodium as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Pirinovag is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Metamizole Sodium or any of its excipients. It should not be administered to patients with a history of agranulocytosis, severe hematological diseases, severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women, unless deemed necessary by a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Pirinovag to patients with asthma, cardiovascular diseases, or moderate liver or kidney diseases. Regular blood count monitoring is recommended for patients requiring prolonged treatment. The use of Pirinovag in children should be supervised by a physician. Its use in combination with other analgesics should be carefully evaluated to avoid adverse effects.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
