Indications

Phendex Otic Drops are indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections of the outer and middle ear, as well as for the reduction of associated inflammation and pain. This medication combines the antibiotic action of ciprofloxacin, which acts on a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, the anti-inflammatory action of hydrocortisone, which helps reduce inflammation and redness, and lidocaine, which provides a local anesthetic effect, relieving pain. Phendex is useful in situations where effective treatment for ear infections and inflammatory conditions is required, allowing for faster recovery with less discomfort for the patient.

Composition

Each milliliter of Phendex Otic Drops contains: Ciprofloxacin 0.3%, Hydrocortisone 1%, Lidocaine 0.5%, excipients cbp 1 ml.

Contraindications

Phendex Otic Drops are contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, in cases of viral or fungal ear infections, as well as in patients with a perforated eardrum. It should not be used in children under 1 year of age without proper medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions, as well as in those using other otological medications. It is important not to wear contact lenses during treatment and to avoid contact of the dropper with any surface to prevent contamination. The administration of Phendex in combination with other otological agents should be done under strict medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
