Indications

Papluf (Epirubicin) is indicated in the treatment of various malignant neoplasms, including:

  • Breast cancer in early and advanced stages.
  • Ovarian cancer.
  • Acute myeloid leukemia.
  • Carcinomas of other tissues, in combination with other chemotherapeutic agents.

Epirubicin acts by interfering with DNA synthesis, resulting in inhibition of tumor cell growth.

Composition

Each Papluf ampule contains 50 mg of epirubicin, as well as excipients that facilitate its administration.

Contraindications

The use of Papluf is contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Known hypersensitivity to epirubicin or to any of the excipients.
  • Severe hepatic insufficiency.
  • Uncontrolled active infections.
  • Pregnancy and lactation, unless absolutely necessary.

Precautions

The following precautions should be taken before administering Papluf:

  • Monitor cardiac function, as epirubicin can cause cardiotoxicity.
  • Perform a complete blood count before each treatment cycle to assess hematological function.
  • Avoid concomitant use with other medications that may affect the heart or bone marrow.

Storage

The medication should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
