Indications
Ortora Otic Solution is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections in the external ear, as well as for the relief of pain associated with these infections. It is useful in the management of otitis externa and other conditions requiring antibacterial and anesthetic action. The combination of lidocaine, a local anesthetic, and neomycin, an antibiotic, allows for rapid action at the site of infection, helping to reduce both pain and inflammation.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Ortora Otic Solution contains: 350 mg of Lidocaine and 2 g of Neomycin.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine, neomycin, or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of perforated eardrum, as well as in viral or fungal ear infections.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions to local anesthetics or antibiotics. It should not be used in children under 2 years of age without medical supervision. Prolonged use should be avoided to prevent the development of resistance and adverse effects.
Storage
Store Ortora Otic Solution in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
