Indications
Omeprazole is indicated in the treatment of various conditions related to excessive gastric acid production. It is primarily used for the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which is characterized by esophageal irritation due to contact with stomach acid. It is also prescribed for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with other antibiotics. In addition, it is useful in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a condition in which the stomach produces excessive acid. It is important to follow medical instructions for proper and effective use of the medication.
Composition
Each 10 ml of solution contains 40 mg of omeprazole as an active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the product.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to omeprazole or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of liver diseases, as omeprazole metabolism may be affected. Likewise, it is recommended to monitor patients receiving long-term treatment, as there may be risks associated with nutritional deficiencies due to reduced absorption of certain nutrients. It is important that the treatment is periodically evaluated by a doctor.

Store at room temperature (between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius), in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
