Indications

Omeprazole is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive stomach acid production. Its main indications include:

  • Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
  • Eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics.
  • Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
  • Control of erosive esophagitis caused by acid reflux.
  • Prevention of stress ulcers in critically ill patients.

Composition

Each capsule contains:

  • Omeprazole (20 mg)
  • Excipients: (List of excipients if necessary)

Contraindications

Omeprazole is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to omeprazole or any of the excipients in the formulation. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of severe liver disease.

Precautions

Omeprazole should be used with caution in patients with liver disorders, as well as in those with symptoms of gastritis, as its prolonged use may be associated with an increased risk of gastrointestinal infections.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
