Indications

Omeprazole is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive stomach acid production. Among the most common indications are:

  • Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
  • Eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics.
  • Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
  • Prevention of ulcers induced by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
  • Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome.

Composition

Each Omeprazole 20 mg capsule contains:

  • Omeprazole: 20 mg
  • Excipients: Gelatin, titanium dioxide, among others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to omeprazole or any of the components of the formula.

Precautions

The following precautions should be considered before starting treatment with Omeprazole:

  • Patients with severe liver disease should use it with caution.
  • It is recommended to evaluate the presence of malignant gastric ulcers before starting treatment.
  • Use in elderly patients or those with pre-existing conditions should be supervised by a physician.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
