Indications

Nodutax is indicated for the treatment of patients with advanced hormone-dependent breast cancer, as well as for those who have progressed after tamoxifen treatment. This medication acts as an aromatase inhibitor, reducing the production of estrogens in the body, which results in the reduction of the growth of cancer cells that depend on these hormones. Its use is recommended in postmenopausal women and should be considered within the context of comprehensive breast cancer treatment.

Composition

Each Nodutax tablet contains 25 mg of exemestane as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for the tablet's formulation.

Contraindications

Nodutax is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to exemestane or any of the excipients in the formulation. Likewise, its use is not recommended in premenopausal women or in cases where there is a history of venous thromboembolism or severe liver diseases.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases or who are being treated with anticoagulants. It is important to monitor liver function and perform periodic evaluations during treatment. In addition, it is suggested to monitor bone density in patients who may be at risk of osteoporosis.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
