Indications
Nifedipine LP is indicated in the treatment of essential hypertension and for the management of chronic stable angina pectoris. This medication acts as a calcium channel blocker, which allows for the relaxation of vascular smooth muscle and improves blood flow. Its use can be beneficial in patients with coronary diseases and in those who require blood pressure control, in addition to being useful in certain cases of vasospasm.
Composition
Each tablet contains Nifedipine as the active ingredient, along with excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to nifedipine or any of the components of the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with congestive heart failure or in those who present with cardiogenic shock. Furthermore, its use is contraindicated in patients with a history of unstable angina pectoris or recent acute myocardial infarction.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Nifedipine to patients with hepatic insufficiency, as a dose adjustment may be required. Likewise, it is recommended to monitor patients' blood pressure and heart rate during treatment. Concomitant use with certain antihypertensive medications without medical supervision is not recommended.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
