Indications

Neupax, whose active ingredient is Alprazolam, is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, panic disorder, and anxiety associated with depression. It is also used in the management of conditions that generate tension and emotional stress, providing a sedative and anxiolytic effect that helps reduce the symptoms associated with these disorders. Its use is recommended in situations where the patient presents a disproportionate anxious response to everyday situations, as well as in the prevention of panic attacks in patients with panic disorder.

Composition

Each Neupax tablet contains 2 mg of Alprazolam, as well as the necessary excipients for the formulation of the medicine.

Contraindications

Neupax is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Alprazolam or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with closed-angle glaucoma, severe respiratory insufficiency, sleep apnea syndrome, or in those with substance dependence. Likewise, its use should be avoided during pregnancy and lactation, unless deemed essential by the physician.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Neupax to patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those with a history of alcohol or drug abuse. Prolonged use may lead to dependence and the appearance of withdrawal symptoms upon discontinuation of treatment. Regular medical follow-up is important during treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
