Indications

Naproxen is indicated for the treatment of various painful and anti-inflammatory conditions. It is commonly used in the management of:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)
  • Acute pain, including postoperative pain
  • Muscle and soft tissue pain

Furthermore, it can be used in the treatment of fever and other inflammatory conditions.

Composition

Each tablet contains 500 mg of naproxen as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation.

Contraindications

It should not be administered to patients with a history of allergy to naproxen or other NSAIDs. It is contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal failure, and during the third trimester of pregnancy.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, hepatic or renal failure, and in those taking anticoagulants. It is important to monitor renal and hepatic function during prolonged treatment. Its use in combination with other NSAIDs or with alcohol is not recommended, as it may increase the risk of adverse effects.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
