Indications
Nacoflar is indicated for the treatment of various painful and inflammatory conditions. It is used to relieve acute and chronic pain in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Additionally, it can be prescribed for the management of postoperative pain and pain associated with sports injuries. Meloxicam, its active ingredient, works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, which reduces inflammation and provides pain relief.
Composition
Each Nacoflar tablet contains 15 mg of meloxicam as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
The use of Nacoflar is not recommended in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to meloxicam or other NSAIDs. It is contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease, severe renal insufficiency, and those with coagulation disorders. Furthermore, it should not be administered during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, moderate hepatic or renal insufficiency. Renal function should be monitored in patients receiving long-term treatment. It should not be combined with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants without proper medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
