Indications

Mucibron Solution is indicated for the treatment of respiratory disorders associated with mucus production, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, asthma, and other conditions involving excessive bronchial secretions. Its mucolytic action facilitates the expulsion of secretions, helping to improve breathing and patient comfort. It is commonly used in the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and in respiratory infections where mucus is a predominant factor.

Composition

Each 100 ml of Mucibron contains 300 mg of Ambroxol hydrochloride as the active ingredient. Excipients include: purified water, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, and other inert components that facilitate the product's formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ambroxol or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of active peptic ulcer or during the first trimester of pregnancy without proper medical evaluation.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those with a history of gastric ulcer. It is important to monitor respiratory function in asthmatic patients, as mucus secretion may increase. In case of worsening symptoms or the appearance of adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
