Indications
Motilaxil is indicated for the treatment of occasional constipation, as well as for bowel evacuation prior to diagnostic and surgical procedures. This medication works by stimulating intestinal peristalsis, which facilitates the passage of stool through the intestine. In addition, it can be used in situations where regulation of bowel habits is required. It is important to follow the instructions of a healthcare professional regarding the duration of treatment and appropriate doses, as prolonged use can lead to drug dependence.
Composition
Each Motilaxil tablet contains 5 mg of sodium picosulfate as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Motilaxil is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sodium picosulfate or any of the formula's components. It should not be used in cases of intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, ulcerative colitis, severe inflammatory bowel diseases, or in patients with severe dehydration. Likewise, its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart disease, kidney or liver problems. The use of Motilaxil in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in patients taking other medications that may interact with sodium picosulfate, should also be evaluated.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
