Indications

Mornin is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to gastric acidification. It is used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which manifests with symptoms such as heartburn and regurgitation. Furthermore, it is effective in the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics, as well as in the management of gastric and duodenal ulcers, and in the prevention of ulcers induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Mornin is also used in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a condition in which the stomach produces an excessive amount of acid. For maximum benefit, it is recommended to follow your doctor's instructions and not exceed the recommended dose.

Composition

Each Mornin capsule contains 40 mg of omeprazole as the active ingredient. Excipients may include, among others, microcrystalline cellulose, starch, and titanium dioxide.

Contraindications

Mornin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to omeprazole or any of the product's excipients. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver disease, as a dosage adjustment may be necessary. Furthermore, follow-up is recommended in patients who present alarming symptoms, such as unexplained weight loss, recurrent vomiting, or dysphagia. Prolonged use of omeprazole may be associated with an increased risk of gastrointestinal infections due to reduced gastric acidity.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.
