Indications
Metoclopramide is indicated in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders requiring an increase in gastric motility. It is used in the management of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or surgery, as well as in the treatment of postoperative vomiting. It is also effective in the treatment of gastroparesis in diabetic patients. Additionally, it can be used in cases of gastroesophageal reflux, where a prokinetic effect is required to facilitate gastric emptying and reduce symptoms of esophagitis.
Composition
Each tablet contains 10 mg of metoclopramide as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, corn starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Metoclopramide is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to metoclopramide or any of the excipients. It should not be used in patients with gastrointestinal hemorrhage, mechanical obstruction, or perforation of the digestive tract. It is also contraindicated in cases of pheochromocytoma and in patients with Parkinson's disease, as it may worsen neurological symptoms.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in patients with a history of depression, liver or kidney disease, as well as in those taking other medications that affect the central nervous system. Patients should be monitored for possible adverse effects, especially during prolonged treatments.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
