Indications
Messelzol is indicated for the treatment of fungal infections caused by susceptible fungi, such as dermatophytes and yeasts, including Candida spp. and Malassezia furfur. It is used in the treatment of ringworm, candidiasis, and other cutaneous mycotic infections. It is also used in the treatment of oral and systemic candidiasis, as well as fungal infections in immunocompromised patients. The administration of ketoconazole should be evaluated and adjusted according to the patient's clinical response and the severity of the infection.
Composition
Each tablet of Messelzol contains 200 mg of ketoconazole as the active ingredient, as well as appropriate excipients for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Messelzol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ketoconazole or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with a history of severe liver disease or who are receiving therapy with other medications that may induce liver toxicity.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with liver diseases, as well as in those with conditions that may compromise liver function. Monitoring of liver function should be considered during treatment. Furthermore, the use of Messelzol is not recommended in combination with certain medications that may increase the risk of adverse effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
