Indications
Mavifem Vag Cream is a medication indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to clindamycin and ketoconazole. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that acts against bacteria, while ketoconazole is an antifungal that combats fungi. This product is commonly used in the treatment of bacterial vaginosis and vaginal candidiasis, providing relief from symptoms such as itching, burning, and foul odor. It is essential that the use of this medication is based on a prior medical evaluation to ensure that the infections are caused by the appropriate agents and that the treatment is the most suitable for each patient.
Composition
Each 100 g of Mavifem Vag Cream contains:
- Clindamycin: 2 g
- Ketoconazole: 1 g
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to clindamycin, ketoconazole, or any component of the formulation. It should not be used in cases of viral infections or fungal infections resistant to treatment. Likewise, simultaneous use with other topical treatments without proper medical supervision should be avoided.
Precautions
Mavifem should be used with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as clindamycin can cause adverse effects in this system. Additionally, caution should be exercised in pregnant or breastfeeding women, and use should be evaluated by a doctor. It should not be applied to extensive skin areas without proper medical supervision.

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
