Indications

Mavidol is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is used in situations requiring analgesia, such as postoperative pain, oncological pain, and severe pain associated with musculoskeletal injuries. The combination of Ketorolac and Tramadol provides a synergistic effect in pain management, offering effective and prolonged relief. This medication should be used under medical supervision and at the recommended doses to avoid adverse effects and maximize its efficacy.

Composition

Each Mavidol tablet contains 10 mg of Ketorolac and 25 mg of Tramadol, supplemented with excipients necessary for its formulation.

Contraindications

Mavidol is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergic reactions to any of the formula's components, active peptic ulcers, bleeding disorders, severe renal insufficiency, and in those receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of epilepsy or seizures, as well as those with liver diseases.

Precautions

It is recommended to evaluate renal and hepatic function before initiating treatment with Mavidol. Prolonged use of this medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal adverse effects, so regular monitoring is suggested. Furthermore, care should be taken when administering this medication in combination with other analgesics or medications that affect coagulation, as well as in special populations such as the elderly or patients with pre-existing medical conditions.
