Indications
Mavicam is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions, such as: rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute pain. Its anti-inflammatory action is due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, which in turn reduces inflammation and pain associated with various musculoskeletal conditions.
Composition
Each Mavicam tablet contains 15 mg of meloxicam as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Mavicam is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to meloxicam or any other component of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of active peptic ulcer, inflammatory bowel disease, severe renal insufficiency, and those with bleeding disorders. Its use is also contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, hepatic insufficiency, heart failure, or in those receiving anticoagulant treatment. Renal function monitoring is recommended in patients receiving this medication long-term. Likewise, it is important to assess the risk of adverse reactions in elderly patients.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
