Indications

Masselfenil is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic pain, such as postoperative pain, headache, muscle pain, and pain associated with colic. It is also used to reduce fever in situations where other medications are not appropriate or have failed in their efficacy. This medication should be used under strict medical supervision, especially in patients with a history of adverse reactions to analgesics or antipyretics.

Composition

Each Masselfenil tablet contains 500 mg of Metamizole Sodium as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that allow for the formulation and stability of the product, which are safe and approved for use in medicines.

Contraindications

Masselfenil is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Metamizole Sodium or to any other component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of previous agranulocytosis, ulcerative colitis, severe renal failure, or during pregnancy and lactation, unless strictly necessary and under medical risk.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of hematological diseases, liver, or kidney problems. Regular medical follow-up is important to assess hematological function during prolonged treatment. Likewise, its use in combination with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or alcohol should be avoided, as this may increase the risk of adverse effects.

Storage

Store Masselfenil in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30 °C. Keep the product out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
