Indications
Marzivag (azithromycin) is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections. It is primarily used for respiratory tract infections, such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and community-acquired pneumonia. It is also indicated for skin and soft tissue infections, as well as urinary tract infections. Azithromycin is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, including some atypical pathogens. It is important to use this medication only under the supervision of a healthcare professional, who will determine the specific indication and duration of treatment.
Composition
Each Marzivag tablet contains 500 mg of azithromycin as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
Marzivag is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to azithromycin, other macrolide antibiotics, or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of cholestatic jaundice or severe hepatic dysfunction.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiac arrhythmias, especially those with prolonged QT interval. Likewise, it is recommended to evaluate liver and kidney function before initiating treatment. It is important to inform the doctor about any medications the patient is taking, as interactions may occur that affect the efficacy or safety of the treatment.
Storage
Marzivag should be stored in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
