Indications
Magnil is indicated for the treatment of various acute and chronic painful conditions. It is used for the management of postoperative pain, gastrointestinal colic, and in situations of high fever where other antipyretics have not been effective. It can also be used in the treatment of various inflammatory conditions requiring significant pain management. Due to its efficacy in reducing pain and fever, it is considered a therapeutic option in both hospital and outpatient settings.
Composition
Each Magnil ampoule contains 1 g of Metamizole Sodium as the active ingredient. This compound is known for its potent analgesic and antipyretic action.
Contraindications
Magnil is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Metamizole or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of severe liver disease, renal failure, or in situations of agranulocytosis. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in patients with analgesic-induced asthma or in those who have experienced adverse reactions to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Magnil to patients with a history of hematological diseases, as well as in those who are dehydrated or have conditions that may compromise renal function. It is advisable to monitor patients during treatment for possible adverse effects. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended without adequate medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
