Indications

Lubyox Oft Solution 15Mg 0.25% is indicated for the treatment of ocular congestion associated with various conditions, such as allergic conjunctivitis, eye strain, and other disorders that cause eye redness. Oxymetazoline acts as a vasoconstrictor, relieving congestion by reducing blood flow to the surface of the eye. Its use is recommended in cases of eye irritation due to environmental factors, such as smoke, dust, and chlorine. In addition, it is useful in conditions where the reduction of eye redness is desirable.

Composition

Each ml of Lubyox Oft Solution contains: Oxymetazoline 0.25% as the active ingredient, as well as excipients such as monobasic sodium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, benzalkonium chloride, and purified water.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to oxymetazoline or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in people with closed-angle glaucoma or in those with severe corneal lesions.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes mellitus. Prolonged use may cause eye irritation or reactive hyperemia. Use in children under 3 years of age is not recommended without medical supervision. Avoid contact of the dropper with surfaces, including the eyes, to prevent contamination.

Storage

Store the product at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
