Indications

Loratadine is indicated for the relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis, both seasonal and perennial, such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, itching of the nose and eyes. It is also used for the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria, relieving itching and the appearance of hives on the skin. Its antihistamine effect works by blocking the action of histamine, a mediator involved in allergic reactions, providing effective and prolonged symptom relief.

Composition

Each tablet contains: Loratadine 10 mg. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to loratadine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in children under 2 years of age, as well as in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless indicated by a doctor.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with severe liver disease, as loratadine is primarily metabolized in the liver. Likewise, it is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption, as it may enhance the sedative effects of other antihistamines. Concomitant administration with other sedative medications is not recommended without a doctor's supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
