Indications

Linexel (Venlafaxine) is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorders in adults. It is also used in the management of generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and social anxiety disorder. This medication works by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, which contributes to improved mood and reduced anxiety. It is essential that the use of Linexel be supervised by a healthcare professional, who can determine the appropriate dosage and necessary follow-up to evaluate treatment response.

Composition

Each capsule contains 75 mg of venlafaxine as the active ingredient. Excipients include: gelatin, titanium dioxide, talc, and other inactive components.

Contraindications

Linexel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to venlafaxine or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients currently receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have recently stopped taking them, due to the risk of severe adverse reactions.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, seizure disorders, or a history of mania. Regular blood pressure monitoring is important during treatment. It is recommended to inform the doctor about any medications the patient is taking to avoid potentially dangerous interactions.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
