Indications
Laritol Ex is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with respiratory diseases, such as allergic rhinitis, which manifest as sneezing, nasal and ocular itching, as well as nasal congestion. In addition, it is used in the management of productive cough, facilitating the expulsion of mucous secretions accumulated in the respiratory tract. This medication combines the antihistamine properties of loratadine, which helps relieve allergic symptoms, with the mucolytic characteristics of ambroxol, which acts by breaking down mucus, making it more fluid and easier to eliminate.
Composition
Each Laritol Ex tablet contains 5 mg of Loratadine and 30 mg of Ambroxol.
Contraindications
Laritol Ex is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastric or duodenal ulcer, as well as in those with heart disease. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation without appropriate medical supervision. It is important to monitor patients over 65 years of age, who may be more susceptible to the adverse effects of the medication.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
