Indications
Laritol D is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic processes and common colds. This medication is effective in the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as in the management of cold symptoms including nasal congestion, sneezing, itchy nose and eyes, and runny nose. The combination of loratadine and phenylephrine provides an antihistamine and decongestant effect, helping to improve breathing and the patient's general well-being.
Composition
Each 100 ml of syrup contains: 50 mg of loratadine and 1.5 mg of phenylephrine, in addition to the necessary excipients for the syrup formulation.
Contraindications
Laritol D is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with severe heart disease or uncontrolled hypertension. Its use is not recommended in children under 2 years of age without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when used in patients with liver or kidney disease, as a dosage adjustment may be necessary. In addition, it is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment with Laritol D, as it may potentiate the sedative effects of loratadine. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or lactation.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
